Fresh off the heels of Lizzo performing and hosting this past Saturday it was announced that Two Time Oscar nominated Benedict Cumberbatch will host and Montreal’s Arcade Fire will be the musical guest on May 7th on SNL.
It’s the second time for Cumberbatch who hosted in 2016 and the 5th appearance for Arcade Fire who previously performed in 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2018.
Arcade Fire made an emotional appearance at Coachella on Friday and set to release their new album “WE” on May 6th.
Fans loved their performance and crowd surfing! The band checked with the crowd and stopped for safety concerns and talked and addressed the war and their their support for Ukraine.
Cumberbatch received Oscar, Bafta, Golden Globe and SAG Awards nominations for his role in the Netflix Drama “The Power of The Dog.” He will appear in an upcoming Sam Raimi directed Marvel movie “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness” scheduled to be released on May 6th.
