Trevor Noah hosted the 64th Annual Grammy Awards last night inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Jon Batiste had the most nominations with 11 and walked out of Sin City as the big winner with 5 award including Album of The Year for “We Are” Batiste also won Best American Roots Performance and Song for “Cry,” Best Music Video for “Freedom,” and Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for Soul (which he shared with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross).
Silk Sonic featuring Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak picked up Song of The Year, Record of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song for their single “Leave the Door Open.”
Olivia Rodrigo won 3 Grammys including Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album “Sour”
Doja Cat won her first Grammy — Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Kiss Me More” with SZA
Billie Eilish went home Grammy-less for the first time in 3 years but performed an amazing rendition of “Happier Than Ever,” sporting a T-shirt honoring late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins who sadly died on March 25 in Colombia. The Foo Fighters won 3 Grammys including Best Rock Performance, Rock Album and Best Rock Song and have won 15 Grammys more than any other American Band.
