CANADA BOOKS A TICKET TO QATAR!
Congrats Canada! What an epic moment in Canadian Soccer and sports history! For the first time since 1986 and only the second time Canada has qualified for the pinnacle of the beautiful game!
The Canadian National Menβs Team downed the Jamaican National Soccer Team 4-0 Sunday afternoon with 29,122 proud fans in attendance at BMO Field aka The Frozen Fortress and millions watched the game at home and in bars and restaurants coast to coast.
The Canadians lead the Table with 28 points and followed by USA and Mexico with 25 points and Costa Rica with 22. The Menβs National Team has an impressive 8 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss during the CONCACAF qualification round.
Canada still has to play one more game vs Panama Wednesday at 9:05pm in Panama City but we have officially clinched a spot in the prestigious World Cup Soccer Tournament that starts November 21 and wraps up with the Final on December 18th in Qatar.
