Tom Brady’s retirement lasted 40 days.
Brady said he’s coming out of retirement and returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season. He made the announcement on his social media accounts saying he has “unfinished business.”
Brady writes, “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands.”
Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion with 5,316 yards passing, 43 touchdowns, 485 completions, 719 attempts all just in 2021.
Looks like Brady just couldn’t stay away.
These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG pic.twitter.com/U0yhRKVKVm
