Cardi B has reportedly dropped out of the starring role in the comedy feature ‘Assisted Living’ just a week before production started in New York. Cast and crew members were told that filming has been temporarily scratched as they scramble to figure out what to do.
The $30 million film was to be produced by Temple Hill and directed by Thembi Banks. In ‘Assisted Living’, Cardi would play a low-level criminal on the run when she is wrongfully accused of a crime. She has to stay clear of any trouble long enough to prove her innocence and crashes at her grandmother’s retirement home as an old lady in prosthetics.
Cardi B hasn’t yet explained as to why she pulled out from the production. Typically when a lead pulls out of production last minute, it’s often followed by legal action but sources say that they hope production can get back on track some time this year.
God is so good to me. When I pray, he listens and blesses me. It’s why when I see other ppl win, I don’t have any hate in my heart for them ❤️
