Britney Spears is ready to share her side of the story and signed a $15 million book deal with publishing house Simon & Schuster for a tell-all memoir! Just in case you haven’t heard enough of her side on social media it sounds like this will be no holds barred book and Britney will reveal everything she went through and set the record straight with how she was treated during the conservatorship and throughout her career.
This book deal comes only a few months after the termination of her 13-year conservatorship. Over the past several months, Britney has been vocal about her estrangement from her family including her sister Jamie Lynn who just recently released her own memoir.
Britney has claimed that she faces “conservatorship abuse” over the last decade and still dealing with legal battles of Jamie Spears, who requested that she pay for his legal fees despite her conservatorship being terminated last November.
Spears has been wanting to write a memoir since her younger sister, Jamie Lynn, released her memoir “Things I Should Have Said” back in January. Jamie Lynn’s memoir mentioned some tough memories which Britney didn’t seem that true or fair to her.
In a now deleted Instagram post, Britney had a few things to say to the newly published author.
“National best seller???? DUH 🙄 …. the timing of your book was unbelievable Jamie Lynn … especially knowing the whole world had no clue what was really done to me!!!!”
Britney continues, “Congrats best seller…..The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk s—t but your f—king lying…..I wish you would take a lie detector test so all these masses of people see you’re lying through your teeth about me !!!! I wish the almighty, Lord would could come down and show this whole world that you’re lying and making money off of me !!!! You are scum, Jamie Lynn.”
Matthew Rosengart, Britney’s lawyer, issued a cease-and-desist to Jamie Lynn ensuring that Britney “no longer be bullied” by her family.
“Although Britney has not read and does not intend to read your book, she and millions of her fans were shocked to see how you have exploited her for monetary gain. She will not tolerate it, nor should she,” the letter read.
In the first time in five years, Britney teased the first project she’ll be doing since the ending of her conservatorship.
