After 3 years of rolling the OSCARS without a host the THE ACADEMY is making up for lost time with 3 hosts this year! It’s the first time in 35 years for 3 hosts and the first time with all females! Good Morning America revealed it will be a triple dose of power house women taking over the podium including Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes.
Amy said “Good morning, America. I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea, But I am hosting the Oscars along with my good friends Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall.”
One of the changes in this year’s show is that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will allow Twitter users to vote for their favorite movie of 2021 regardless of whether the film was nominated for an Academy Award.
Jimmy Kimmel was the last person to host the Oscars in 2018. The 94th Academy Awards will be handed out live at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center in LA on Sunday March 27, 2022 at 8pm on ABC.
